The
Barometer Shop is pleased to offer reproduction clocks and barometers
made by Comitti of London, a family business with a unique history.
Onorato Comitti
was a skilled Italian Instrument maker who came to England in 1845.
He established his workshops in London and in a very short time
his barometers were gracing the homes of discerning customers. It
was during the late Victorian period that the company diversified
into clockmaking, and many of the styles made in the early days
continue to be available today.
They continue
to use traditional materials and methods of craftsmanship although
they are constantly striving to combine age-old craft skills with
modern technology and now also produce some of the most advanced
electronic weather stations available to the amateur meteorologist.
Illustrated
is just a small selection of the Comitti range. We can send you
our brochure with the stock we normally carry which can generally
be despatched within 2-3 days. If you are looking for something
in particular or would like more information, do not be afraid to
telephone us and we will do our best to help.
